Happy New Year 2021

We like to dance swing because we enjoy meeting people from all over the world, traveling to other cities and other times. The pandemic hasn't stopped us from doing so in 2020.

When we think about dancing, about underground dances and classes, joy rises from our toes to our hearts. It's a feeling that smells of hairspray, leather, and sunshine. Arriving in a room with complete strangers and leaving with friends who not only share your passion for dance but also a unique lifestyle. That moment when the bounce takes over our shoes has been difficult to experience this year.

In 2020, we've had to learn to connect online and hope for a better 2021. Hugs are gone, and the laughter of stumbling can be heard through a loudspeaker. Schools are slowly reopening, but it seems like the return to normalcy is taking longer than we'd like.

Swing is a lifestyle based on joy, meeting people, respect, and music. That's our philosophy, and nothing, not even a pandemic, can make us lose the desire to take to the streets again and dance for a night, two, or even three. We swing lovers love history; now we have the opportunity to make it, to be remembered for our spirit and our desire to keep dancing even through the storm.

All together, from Alicante to Alaska, we'll dance until 2021, full of travel and music, arrives soon.
